A Needle-Felted Underwater Fiber Adventure Awaits… Creating depth and texture with wool (Adults 16+) Join our guest instructor Jennie Sanders as you transform wool into a whimsical underwater creation and discover how needle felting can bring fiber art to life. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals of creating this needle-felted jellyfish, combining vibrant colors, playful shapes, and unique textures to create your own one-of-a-kind ocean creature. Through guided instruction, you’ll explore how to sculpt wool into a dimensional form, blend colors to create depth and visual interest, and incorporate a variety of fibers to add texture and movement. You’ll experiment with different techniques for creating distinctive tentacles, using twisted, braided, and textured fibers to give your jellyfish its own personality and character. Whether you’re new to felting or looking to expand your fiber art skills, this workshop will encourage you to experiment with color, explore new techniques, and let your imagination guide your creative process. Students will take home all materials so they're set up for future felting projects
