Whimsical Jellies: 3D Needle Felting Workshop (Adults 16+) Take a piece of the ocean home with you as you join our guest instructor Jennie Sanders in creating your own one-of-a-kind jellyfish sculpture. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create your own one-of-a-kind jellyfish sculpture, full of personality, color, and movement. Perfect for beginners and curious makers alike, this class introduces the fundamentals of 3D needle felting. You’ll learn how to shape core wool into form, build dimension through layering, and bring your jelly to life with texture and flowing fibers. Explore a variety of materials to create vibrant, curly tentacles and soft, sculptural details that make each piece truly unique. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a finished whimsical jellyfish to display—and the foundational skills to continue your felting journey. In this workshop, you will learn: • Shaping and structuring with core wool • Building dimension through layering • Adding texture with specialty fibers • Creating movement and personality in 3D forms Come ready to experiment, play with color, and let your creativity drift beneath the waves! All materials are provided, and no prior experience is required — just bring your creativity and curiosity. Length: 3 hours Experience Level Required: NONE Materials Fee: Included Materials Provided by Instructor: Core Wool, Dyed Wool, Dyed Locks, Felting Foam, and Felting Needles along with tips and tricks. Students will take home all materials so they're set up for future felting projects

If you are unable to attend, please notify us ASAP of any cancellation or rescheduling. Contact us at 425-245-5104 or email info@allwoundupyarnshop.com for all cancellations or rescheduling needs. Masks are welcomed and encouraged. Please do not attend class if you are feeling unwell. Service animals only. Please leave pets at home. Age requirements Everyone must be at least 16 to take the adult classes. Children’s classes start at age 8. Parents must sign a Liability Waiver AND be available during the scheduled class times for contact in the event of an emergency or student disruption. Refunds will not be given if students are asked to leave due to behavior. Space limitations exist for all classes. We try to keep our class sizes small to ensure each student gets personalized attention. For this reason, we require students to register for our classes via our website, prior to 72 hours in advance. Cancellations Class cancellations must be made up to 72 hours (3 days) before the first class is held. We cannot offer refunds for cancellations that take place within 72 hours prior to the start of class. This is to be fair to students and our instructors. We will have closed the class registration and provided the instructor with the final headcount. No refund will be issued for sessions not attended and no refund will be issued after classes have started. No make-up sessions for missed classes unless due to instructor illness or inclement weather. Materials We request that yarn be purchased at All Wound Up Yarn Shop for all classes. You may bring your own needles and notions, however, we do have plenty of supplies available for purchase if needed. Materials are not included unless specified.
