The Longest Day Event with Ann Budd

Save the date: Sunday, June 18th as we participate in a revolving Zoom Knitathon to raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimers Association.

Ann's Fading Memories Cowl (pictured left) is available on Ravelry now.

All Wound Up is using Schoppel Gradient for the pattern. Come in and see our sample! You can also select from any of our thinner weight yarns if you prefer. Schoppel is a little heavier, but it make a gorgeous cowl. Ann will donate $5 for each pattern sold, and AWU will donate $5 for each skein of Gradient sold, through August 31st, 2023.

We will knit along with Ann during the event, as she join 8 different shops via zoom. There will be tips, prize raffles, and more!

All Wound Up's session runs from 2-3 pm.

Click the link to register! It is free to join the Zoom sessions.

We are thrilled to be a partner shop with Fiberside Chats!

Every two weeks, you have the opportunity to attend a Fiberside Chat via Zoom. These classes or lectures are led by fiber industry leaders, influential craftspeople, designers, and artists.

To the right, you can see who's chatting next! Chats are recorded, so even if you cannot attend live, you have seven days to listen to the recording. These sessions are SO fantastic, and only $20!

To register click HERE then, select the chat you'd like to attend.

When adding the ticket to you cart, scroll ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM OF THE LIST, and select "All Wound Up", then add to cart.

Ongoing Charity Projects at AWU

We collect hats for local chemotherapy patients. They can be any size, color, or pattern, but must be made with yarn that has no acrylic or wool. We recommend cotton, bamboo, and silk blends.

Bamboo Pop is our shop favorite for chemo hats.

We often have free skeins available for chemo hat projects. Just ask the next time you come in.

We also collect accessories and garments of all kinds for Clothes for Kids. These can be made in any washable fiber. Items in masculine colors and larger sizes are especially appreciated as they are not donated as often. Teens also receive gifts from Clothes for Kids - not just younger children.

You'll receive 1 email/week, sent on Wednesdays
